Stone Buildings of

 Morristown

Presented by Chris Coffin on July 1st, 2024
Designs by Roseanne Paquette

Our latest exhibit  at the Morristown Gateway Museum, titled "Stone Buildings of Morristown," delves into the rich history of the town's early architecture.

Coffin highlights 15 key stone structures, including homes, public buildings, and landmarks like Wright’s Marina and the Morristown library.

His research not only explores the architectural beauty of these stone buildings but also provides insights into the economic, social, and political contexts of Morristown's early settlement.

The exhibit features large, full-color panels and will be on display throughout the summer.
See a preview of the panels below, and visit the museum for a closer look!
