Summer 2019 Gallery 6- Volunteer Day

Saturday June 22nd was Volunteer Day at the Red Barn Preserve.  20 friends of the museum showed up to participate in projects.

Some volunteers raked wood chips along the hiking trails

Some cut down cattails that were growing too close to the boardwalks

Some trimmed the weeds ........

Some worked in the farmhouse removing an old fuel tank in the basement and painting walls

Others worked in the Red Barn removing old partitions that were installed when the barn was used as a museum back in the 70's

"Buddy" was named mascot of the day and he had a great time watching the volunteers !
