Summer 2018 Gallery 2- 4th of July Parade and Ribbon Cutting Hiking Trail

The Gateway Museum proudly presented its 4th of July float this year with two themes:

The first theme is entitled:  "The Big Fish- Making a living from the River"  This exhibit tells the story about the rich heritage Morristown has had with fishing and features displays about Sturgeon and Muskies.

The second theme- displays the new hiking trail at the Red Barn Preserve on River Road East.

The Boy Scouts on the float are from Troup 9 in Heuvelton.  Troup 9 recently worked on Evan Cosler's Eagle Scout Project and provided many improvements to the trail.

The Gateway Museum hosts the Grand Opening of Hiking Trail #1 at the Red Barn Preserve on July 6th.  Morristown Highway Superintendent Dean Hoffman cuts the Ribbon while Wayne Moquin looks on.  50 guests attended the event
